Nasser Ali Khasawneh is the Chairman of the Middle East offices and Global Head of AI & TMT at Eversheds Sutherland. Nasser has been practising since 1994, both as in-house counsel and in private practice, acting for some of the leading regional and international companies across various sectors. Nasser’s experience is primarily focused on two areas: commercial/TMT and disputes. He has represented some of the world's largest information technology, media and consumer companies, advising them on various commercial, licensing, cloud computing, IP rights, labour law, and other issues. Nasser has also acted as counsel and as an arbitrator in major arbitration cases in various sectors.
Frankie Tam is a Partner of our technology team based in Hong Kong at Eversheds Sutherland. Her practice covers a wide array of commercial and tech related matters, including significant technology outsourcing transactions, Fintech, Regtech and blockchain services agreements and data privacy matters. Frankie has worked with leading DLT companies in study of regulatory developments in digital currencies, CBDC and stablecoins. Frankie is a member of the Vetting Committee of Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Commission’s General Support Programme, where she advises the Government on merits of technology projects. She is on the advisory board of the Stanford University’s Responsible Digital Leadership project. She teaches Regtech and Fintech programmes at postgraduate degrees. She regularly speaks at professional bodies’ CPD programmes and industry conferences. Frankie has mentored distributed ledger technology companies at accelerator programmes.
