Andrew Weir FCA MBE BBS JP

Previously, he served as the Global Head of Asset Management and Global Head of Real Estate at KPMG, and held prominent positions within the firm's global leadership teams. With over 35 years of auditing and professional experience, Andrew worked with a diverse range of clients in Hong Kong, the UK, China, Asia, and the Middle East.
As a Chartered Accountant and Fellow, Andrew has extensive expertise in corporate governance, board leadership, and the role of business in the community. He chaired the KPMG Board Leadership Centre and led the quarterly KPMG Independent Non-Executive Directors Forum. Andrew is a regular speaker at various forums, universities, and business schools, sharing his knowledge on boards, audit committees, and emerging business topics.
Andrew held numerous senior roles at KPMG and made significant contributions to the Financial Services and Capital Markets sectors. Appointed by the HKSAR Government, he served on various committees and councils, including the Financial Services Development Council and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. In the community, Andrew is actively involved in several organisations, including The Hong Kong Jockey Club and the British Chamber of Commerce. He has been recognised for his contributions with several honours, including the MBE in 2017, Justice of the Peace in 2020 and Bronze Bauhinia Star.
