Chamber Member Consultation on Policy Address Submission
The Policy Address Submission has long been a crucial and significant annual policy advocacy piece from the Chamber. Over the years, we have achieved considerable success, as the Government has been receptive to and adopted many of our suggestions.
Since last year, the Policy Address Submission process has been led by the Policy Council and Business Policy Unit, based on inputs from the board, committees and expert groups. This year we would like to extend the opportunity for all Chamber members to participate in this process. Therefore, we are introducing a Chamber Member Consultation session, allowing members who are not on any committees or expert groups to contribute to the policy submission process.
Please see here for the template we use for policy address inputs.
We invite you to join us for a 1-hour online session on Friday, 9 May 1-2pm to propose policy suggestions, from you or your firm. Here is the agenda:
Each member will have strictly 2 minutes to present their policy suggestions. We hope to hear from you. If you would like to participate, please email Christy (christy@britcham.com) or Alex (alex@britcham.com) in advance to let us know your topic of interests. We will send out a meeting link two days before the Consultation.
We look forward to seeing you at the consultation session!
